The Finland-based AC drives manufacturer Vacon introduces the new Vacon X product line. These easy-to-use AC drives are designed for harsh environments, enduring dirt, dust, humidity and liquids. The Vacon X series is targeted at the food and beverage industry, material handling, and water and waste water treatment, but is ideally suited for all tough industrial applications.

Vacon and Voith Paper Automation enter into a global cooperation agreement
The Finland-based AC drives manufacturer Vacon has signed a global cooperation agreement with Voith Paper Automation, one of the seven Voith Paper divisions, which supplies comprehensive automation solutions for the paper industry. Headquartered in Germany, Voith Paper Automation has chosen Vacon as their preferred AC drives supplier for their paper machine deliveries worldwide.

Vacon and Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies sign a global supply agreement
The Finland-based AC drives manufacturer Vacon has signed a global supply agreement with Veolia Water Solutions and Technologies (VWS), the world leader in water treatment, headquartered in France. VWS has chosen Vacon as their preferred AC drives supplier.

Ambitious growth targets for Vacon
AC drive manufacturer Vacon has set ambitious targets for growth by 2012. The company's goal is to have revenues of EUR 500 million and operating profit of more than 14 per cent of revenues in 2012. Vacon is holding a Capital Markets Day today, 13 May, when the company's management will give more detailed information about these goals.
